Tess found her way to film through writing and music. The New York City native grew up writing short stories and reading comics while studying music through piano and flute. Her love of film originated through her being shown the classics, including The Matrix and Kill Bill (a movie she was probably way too young to see at the time), which kickstarted her fondness for the action genre.

While pursuing her bachelor's degree in Film & TV at Boston University, Tess applied her musical ear and writing skills, producing multiple films and projects for classes and finishing her first 90-min spec script. Her favorite jobs are in post-production, using her eye for detail and ear for sound to create a final product she is proud of.

Currently, Tess works as a video editor full-time, with a focus on short-form content, but hopes to expand into other types of media.
